In the latest release from Adam Sandler he plays over worked business man Micheal Newman. A man who as no time to do any of the things he wants to do in his life. Then a magical thing happens and he is given a universal remote by a man named Morty(Chris Walken). This is no ordinary remote control it works on life not electronics. His life advances forward and speeds from normal to fast forward.

I went into this not expecting too much, and I was pleasantly surprized. The plot seems weak at first but ends up tying together nicely. I am a big fan of Sandler but not for his funny movies but for his serious roles. I think his talent is highly underrated. And the serious Sandler shows up for a majority of the movie. The third quarter of the movie takes on a dark turn but it pulls out the happy ending to keep this as a good family film. Now, if you are looking for a good kinda funny movie with a very good message this is a great flick to see. It also serves as a very good introduction to a serious Adam Sandler if you have only ever seen him in the funny obnoxious roles.
