010I love pretending to be a football power player

Well its about time for football season to start and I couldn’t be happier. I love football and spend all summer counting down to the beginning of the season. For the first time in about 4 years I am in a fantasy football league. For those of you who don’t know, it is where you draft real NFL players and start them on a mock team. Each week you play a different player in your league. Based on the stats of the players you start you earn points, most points wins. Then throughout the year wins and losses are totaled and then the playoffs are set. Whoever wins the playoffs gets a nice chunk of money but more importantly they get there name put on the trophy and bragging rights for the year. The draft was held on Friday at the home of the Commisioner. It was a lot of fun and I hope I can keep up with it in the years to come. So what do you ask are my chances? I think they are about the same as anyone elses. You can’t guess where anyone will end up till it happens. Thats why I love doing this. That and besides, where else can I say I have people under contract on my “team” that make more money getting out of bed each day then I do all year? It makes me feel important.
